The leadership of the PLANMC is, similarly to their subordinates, well-trained and equipped with effective command and control systems. PLA doctrine emphasizes aggression and firepower at the small unit level, and the PLANMC officer is the focal point for coordination of everything from mechanized infantry assaults to leveraging non-organic fires.
