Somewhere between a utility vehicle and a proper armored vehicle, the buzzword-laden Tactical Armored Patrol Vehicle takes the armored car concept into the 21st century. While not intended to be a front-line combatant, the TAPV packs a reasonable punch with its dual remote weapons station. The TAPV RWS mounts both a C6 medium machine gun and either an M2 .50-cal heavy machine gun or a 40mm grenade launcher.
Designed with a reconnaissance role in mind, the TAPV carries a commander, driver, and gunner, and seats three additional passengers to give the vehicle added flexibility.
Like many light vehicles in military service, the TAPV comes in a plethora of variants, both official and hastily-modified by troops in the field. Players should feel free to use the provided statistics as a baseline for further modification.
